Exclusive Interview With Ayush Singh – A Keyword Research Champ

Welcome to yet another episode of the Expert Talks interview series, where I interview famous bloggers who are doing great in this field.

In this 7th episode of Expert talks, I will do an interview with Ayush Mishra from WP Blogger Basic who is a blogger and keyword research champ.

So, without any further ado.

Let’s dive right in.

Who is Ayush Singh?

Ayush Singh is a blogger and affiliate marketer who blogs at wpbloggerbasic.com.

He has started his blogging journey in 2018 and has achieved success in blogging quickly.

Ayush is one of the most confident bloggers who I have talked to.

He is a keyword research champ, he can easily find lucrative keywords for which he has a sure-shot chance to rank.

That is the reason why almost all his blog posts rank on Google.

Also, I would like to thank Ayush for giving me this awesome interview.

Now, after this quick intro about Ayush, let’s jump into the interview questions.

In this interview, I have tried to take out some of Ayush’s best blogging techniques.

Q1. Ayush, Can you please tell my audience something about your story? Also, tell the story of Wpbloggerbasic as well.

Hello everyone, My name is Ayush Singh. I am 22 years old and live in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

I am a part-time Blogger, Affiliate Marketer, YouTuber and also doing a Job.

I started my blogging journey in 2018 and have created lots of blogs till now. But my permanent blog is Wpbloggerbasic.com.

I started this blog in 2018, where I share my personal experience about blogging, WordPress, SEO, and Affiliate marketing.

About one year ago, I also started my YouTube channel The Blog Mind where I upload videos on WordPress tutorials, Blogging, and some other useful tips for bloggers.

Apart from this, I also run a Facebook group- Wpbloggerbasic community, where lots of newbie bloggers ask their queries and I answer them quickly.

Q2. Can you tell me your article writing process, such as keyword research, writing and editing?

I have been writing articles for the past 3 years. I have good experience in writing as well as keyword researching.

My writing process is simple, I use Google Docs for writing blogs.

I know there are some tools like Frase, which is good for writing content because it shows some useful data to rank high on search engines. 

But my simple method is I can write SEO friendly content without using any tool. You can see all my blogs are ranking on the first page of Google without any backlinks. 

I write plagiarism-free SEO friendly articles, with more than 1500+ words. I use my high-quality images (copyright-free).

And also include some related keywords in the post, which helps me to rank on the first page of Google.

Q3. I have seen your website ranking on Google for affiliate review articles, can you tell how your write and promote it?

I try to write lengthy articles as long as I can. I never compromise the quality of my content. 

I believe in organic traffic and 90% of my traffic is organic.

I only share my content on my social media profiles and that is enough for me. 

Google will do the rest of the work.

Q4. Having strong networking is a must in this competitive niche. Do you do networking with other bloggers, and can you tell my audience how you do it?

Having strong networking is really important if you want to do blogging. 

As I mentioned above, I run a Facebook community that has more than 650+ bloggers and also have some popular bloggers like Ramesh Rawat.

I am in touch with lots of popular bloggers and learn with them so I can do better & better.

Q5. Can you tell me some tools that you use for blogging and productivity?

Some tools really help me, and without them, things could be more difficult for me.

Here are some tools that I use daily:

• SEMrush and Ahrefs for Keyword Research and competitor analysis.
• Grammarly and docs for content writing and planning.
• Elementor for building blog posts more attractive.
• TinyPNG for compressing image size before uploading.
• Canva for creating high quality images.
• Google Site Kit – All in one plugin

These tools are so helpful for me.

Q6. People try a lot of things to create a passive income source, but fail to do one properly. Do you think that people should try their hand in one thing rather than trying all of them?

Yes, You’re right. 

People try lots of different things to make passive income but fail. 

My personal suggestion for those people is, don’t try all of them at the same time. Try to focus on one thing first, after getting success on that particular thing try some other stuff too.

If you’re a YouTuber, first create your audience on YouTube, then try some other things like blogging.

Q7. Ayush, can you tell me your daily schedule? Also, are you a full time blogger or a part-time one?

As I said above, I am a part-time blogger because I am also focusing on my job. That’s why I’m not able to give 100% to my blogging career.

I spend my 11 AM to 7 PM on my job and mostly write my posts at night. 

Q8. Ayush, blog traffic is a pain in the neck for many bloggers, can you give some tips on how one can drive traffic from Google?

I am an expert in keyword research. I find and write only for those keywords which give me surety to rank on the first page of Google. 

I analyze the first page of Google on my chosen keyword and read the top 3 posts which are ranking well.

Then I optimize my blog post and provide more valuable information.

Q9. Give your top 5 profitable niches for 2023? Also, how many blogs do you have and do you have any micro niche blogs as well?

In my opinion, these are some profitable niches in 2023:

• Finance
• Fitness
• Lifestyle
• Travel
• Real Estate

I have two blogs, one is my primary blog and another is a micro-niche blog.

Q10. Ayush, can you tell me something about your family? What role does your family have in your success, and do they supported you in this unorthodox career?

We are three brothers, Mom and Dad in my family. My parents are very supportive and always motivate me and gives me the strength to keep going.

Q11. People have started saying that blogging is dead. Do you think it is due to the rise of video consumption?

Honestly, I don’t think blogging is dead. Every person has their own perspective.

Blogging is dead for someone, and it is a money-making thing for someone. 

It’s clear that blogging isn’t dead, and that it won’t die either in 2023 or beyond. But blogging is changing. 

Just not in the way most people think.

Q12. Do you read books and what effect they have on your mentality?

Yes, I read lots of books. Here is the collection of my books:

Q13. Can you tell me how much do you earn monthly from your digital business?

I frequently receive these kinds of emails.

Q14. What are your future plans in this online field? Also, can you give some motivation to my readers so that they can get success in blogging?

Nothing special, try to add value in my content to take my blog to the next level. 

You have to keep patience and give your best day by day if you want to be successful in blogging. It’s not a thing, you start and start generating huge income. 

You have to be positive every single day. In the blogging industry, you will get many types of de-motivations, but you have to be strong.

Keep this line in your mind.

Q15. Some testimonial or suggestion for my blog question blogging?

Your blog looks amazing. Very clean structure, blog speed is also very good, and also write very helpful content.

You are also building a good relationship with other popular bloggers, which is a great thing.

Never lose hope, always try to add more value to your content.
