Rocket.net Hosting Review (In-short)
Rocket.net hosting is a super-fast hosting that comes with a lot of features that can make your website fast and fix its core web vitals too.
I don’t recommend it to beginner bloggers because this hosting is a bit costly.
However, if you want to make your website super fast and have enough money to invest in it then I would highly recommend you to go for this hosting.
So, what are you waiting for?
A fast-loading website is essential for your online business to grow and thrive.
It has been found that if your website loads in 2 seconds then its bounce rate would be 9% but if it increases to 5 seconds then its bounce rate would jump to freaking 38%.
And that is the reason why no one wants a slow website neither search engines nor your website’s visitors.
The major reason why your website lags in terms of speed is because of your poorly optimized web hosting.
In this post, I am going to review Rocket.net hosting which is said to be one of the fastest web hosting in the market.
But is it so?
Let’s test it!
What is Rocket.net hosting?

Rocket.net hosting is a new kid in the market of web hosting which has gained huge traction due to its fast and secure WordPress hosting.
It has been started in 2020 by Ben Gabler and Aaron Philips and comes with a lot of features like Web Application Firewall (WAF), Free CDN, Unlimited migrations, Free daily backups, and more.
But the most unique feature of this Managed WordPress hosting provider is that it comes with a Cloudflare Enterprise CDN for absolutely free.
It makes your website faster and securer than ever.
I have personally used their WordPress hosting and the experience was phenomenal which I have personally tested it in this article.
So STAY TUNED!
But the point to be noted here is that Rocket.net focuses only on Managed WordPress hosting.
So, if you want shared hosting, VPS hosting, or cloud hosting then go with Chemicloud or Hostinger.
You can read my Chemicloud vs Hostinger article to know more about these two web hosts.
Why you should go for Rocket.net hosting?
Rocket.net web hosting has become one of my favorite web hosts out there.
There are several benefits of using this web host for your website which would help you take it to the next level.
But sadly we can’t cover all of them in a single article😞.
So, here are some major benefits of using this web host:
Rocket.net hosting speed and performance test
Speed is the real currency of a web hosting provider.
No one would buy web hosting from a slow web host. So before investing your hard-earned money into a web host please check if it is fast or not?
And if it is not then never ever invest your money into that web host.
Let’s now start the speed and server test of Rocket.net hosting and see if it holds on to its claim of being one of the fast web hosts in the market.
Server response time test
The server response time of a web host is really crucial because it determines the TTFB (Time to first byte) and LCP (Largest contentful paint) of your website.
And after the Core web vitals update of Google, it has now become a ranking factor for Google.
So, in short, you have to choose a web host which has a lower server response time.
According to official Google guidelines, the ideal server response time should be less than 200ms.
But does the fast Rocket.net hosting fulfills it? Let’s see.
I have used the Bitcacha tool to find the server response time of my website that is hosted on Rocket.net hosting.
And here is the results of this test.
As you can see the server response time of Rocket.net hosting on all these locations is under 10ms which is far less than Google’s ideal server response time.
This is because of Cloudflare Enterprise CDN which comes with 250+ caching locations around the globe which reduces the response time of your server significantly.
Now after seeing the server response time of Rocket.net hosting it is clear that this web host is fast.
But how fast?
(Note – The website I am testing here is a demo website that is hosted on Rocket.net hosting which has no content in it. So speeds can vary for different websites)
First of all, let’s test my demo website on GTmetrix and see how it is performing.
Oh my god! I am getting 100% Speed and Performance and A rating on GTmetrix for my demo website hosted on Rocket.net.
Also, the core web vitals and total load time is in control.
Hats off to the Rocket.net team for making such an amazing web host for bloggers and entrepreneurs.
2. Page speed insights
The next speed test is on the Google Page Speed Insights tool which is a great tool to accurately measure your website’s speed and core web vitals
As you can see my demo website on Rocket.net hosting is loading super fast both on desktop.
My website is getting a perfect 100 score on both desktop and mobile.
Now is the time to test my demo website on the Pingdom speed testing tool.
For this test, I have chosen the Asia-Japan-Tokyo location to test the capability of the Rocket.net hosting.
And here is its test result:
As you can see that my website is getting an A grade in terms of performance.
Along with that, the load time of my website is just 695ms and is just making 9 requests.
Phenomenal Speedo Hosting!!
Now at last let’s test my demo website on the Bitcatcha speed tool which we have also used to know the server response time of Rocket.net hosting.
Similar to all the three speed tests my demo website is also getting an A+ grade on the Bitcatcha tool.
Along with that the server speed, LCP, and TBT of my website are also in control.
Now after testing the speed of my demo website on Rocket.net hosting let’s do its Uptime test.
For this test, I have used an uptime robot and it has given me 100% uptime of this web hosting.
Which is a great thing because if your web hosting remains down for a long time then it can cost you a huge loss in your business.
So, in short, I would give 10 on 10 to Rocket.net for Uptime.
Load handling Test
Load handling test is really necessary to do while choosing a web host because this will determine how your website would react when traffic will come to it.
So, here is the load handling test result of the Rocket.net hosting:
As you can see the requests made were 7411 and the average response time was just 16ms which is super low.
Also, out of the 7411 requests, there were no HTTP failures that is an awesome thing because it means that your website won’t crash if real traffic would come to it.
Speed Features present in Rocket.net hosting
After doing all these speed tests on Rocket.net hosting I found that it is a legit fast web host.
But what are the features that make this web host super fast?
This is what I am going to discuss in this section:
1. Number of Data centers
Rocket.net hosting has cloud servers in 21 locations around the world, the most being in the North American region.
Here are all the Rocket.net server locations around the world:
|North America||New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Miami, Montreal, Seattle, San Jose, Phoenix, Orlando, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Atlanta, Austin, and Dallas,|
|Europe||London, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt|
Along with that Rocket.net hosting comes with Cloudflare Enterprise CDN for FREE which gives you 250+ caching locations around the world which makes your website super fast in every corner of the world.
2. Awesome caching and image optimization
Rocket.net hosting comes with a built-in caching system in place because of the Cloudflare Enterprise CDN that comes with 250+ caching locations around the world.
It makes your website load super fast even without using a caching plugin.
However, you can’t control much of this caching system by yourself you can just clear the total cache of your website or any of its specific URLs.
Nothing more you can do in that!
Along with an in-built caching system, Rocket.net hosting also comes with an image optimization system too.
However, you can’t see which images on your website are optimized and which are not.
These optimizations take place behind the scene and you can’t interfere in that.
So, if you want more control over caching and image optimization then go with WP Rocket + Imagify (Image optimization plugin by WP Rocket).
You can know more about WP Rocket and Imagify in my WP Rocket review.
3. Cloudflare Enterprise CDN
Rocket.net hosting comes with Cloudflare Enterprise CDN for absolutely free which makes your website super fast.
It has 250+ caching locations in place which make your website super fast in every corner of the world.
4. Unlimited Inode count
It is really revolutionary that Rocket.net hosting is giving unlimited inode count in all its hosting plans.
Almost all the web hosts in the market provide you with limited inode counts in their web hosting.
Unlimited inode count gives you the freedom to store an unlimited number of files on your hosting despite your hosting plan.
5. Litespeed servers
Rocket.net hosting comes with modernized LiteSpeed servers which are much faster than the old school web hosting servers.
It helps you transfer the data of your website faster from one place to another which makes a significant difference in your website’s speed.
It makes your website faster, more responsive, and fixes its core web vitals as well.
So, what are you waiting for?
Get Rocket.net hosting for your website.
6. Comes with all the off-site speed optimization
Rocket.net’s hosting team constantly monitors and optimizes the speed of their hosting servers.
And that’s why this web host is one of the fastest in the whole web hosting market.
Along with that this web hosting comes with all the off-site speed optimizations that make this web host super fast.
So, in short, if you are using Rocket.net hosting then your website won’t load slow ever.
Is Rocket.net the fastest hosting?
Rocket.net is a super web host and there is no doubt about that.
It might not be the fastest but it is one of the fastest web hosts around the world. For SURE!
It comes with a lot of features that would help your website load with the speed of light. Just kidding😂😂😂.
Rocket.net hosting key features
Now is the time to discuss the key features of this awesome web host one by one.
Let’s get started:
1. Beginner Friendly user interface
Rocket.net hosting dashboard comes with a beginner-friendly and beautiful-looking user interface.
To see this dashboard you have to buy a hosting plan from Rocket.net and log in to your account.
In the dashboard on the top navigation bar, you get options like the dashboard, sites, billing, support, and affiliates.
Next, you would get some important metrics of your hosting plan like the number of websites hosted, unique visitors, disk usage, bandwidth usage, and more.
You can simply click on the upgrade button if you want to upgrade your rocket.net hosting plan.
As you scroll down, you would get the sites you are hosting currently on Rocket.net. You can click on the create site button to add a new site to your Rocket.net hosting.
Along with that, you get a support button at the bottom of the page which you can click to contact their support staff.
Two things that I really loved about Rocket.net are its custom-made panel and visitor count estimation.
Rocket.net hosting uses its own dashboard instead of cPanel which is easier to use especially for beginners!
Also, Rocket.net counts unique visitors which means that if a user visits your website 2, 3, 4, or more times then it would be counted as 1 visitor which is a really cool feature of this web host.
2. Daily Backups
Rocket.net takes the daily backups game to the next level!
It takes the daily backups of your website without costing you anything extra.
The best part?
It is stored on a different server which makes it extra secure in case of any cyber attack on your website.
Along with that, you can create manual backups by clicking on the create backups button.
The backups are stored for the next 14 days and you are free to restore the backup anytime on your website.
3. Awesome security features
The security features of Rocket.net hosting are top-notch. You get a huge bunch of security features available with this web host.
First of all, you get the Cloudflare Enterprise WAF which helps in filtering the bots, hackers, and malicious traffic coming to your website.
We will talk about this firewall after some time in this article.
Next is the Immunify360 which is another firewall that provides protection against malware, SQL injections, and more.
Here are some more security features present at Rocket.net hosting:
I really like the security features that Rocket.net is providing to its customers but all of them work at the backend and we can’t control it by ourselves much.
It would have been great if they could have provided options to enable or disable some of these security features.
4. Cloudflare Enterprise WAF
Cloudflare Enterprise WAF makes Rocket.net hosting much more secure than another hosting in the world.
As I have previously told you that WAF helps in filtering the spam, bot, or malicious traffic from coming to your website which protects your website from any kind of spam.
Along with that this hosting comes with Immunify360 which is another firewall that protects your web hosting server from brute force attacks, malware, virus, and more.
So, in short Rocket.net hosting firewalls protects your website from every possible cyber attack.
5. Free SSL
Having an SSL certificate is a must in today’s time because of two main reasons.
First, it keeps your website secure from spam, bot traffic, and more.
And second is that it is a Google ranking factor too.
Rocket.net hosting comes with a free SSL with all its hosting plans which helps you save some of your bucks.
6. Remove costly plugins
In my blogging journey of 2 years, I have used more than 3 types of web hosting, and trust me to make your blog post fast and secure you need costly plugins like:
But with Rocket.net hosting you won’t need any of these plugins even caching plugins to make your website fast and secure.
Because Rocket.net gives you all of them in their hosting which saves a lot of your money from these costly security and speed optimization plugins.
7. Unlimited Migrations
Rocket.net hosting is one of the few web hosts out there which offers unlimited migrations to its users.
So, if you have plans to move away from this web host then you can easily do that by contacting their support through live chat or by making a ticket.
And after some time your website would get migrated to your new web host without any downtime.
Actually, that’s commendable and justified for the price that this web host comes under.
8. 1-Click Website staging
Rocket.net hosting comes with a 1-click staging feature that makes a static copy of your website which helps you test some codes and features on your website locally without damaging your live website.
On your Rocket.net dashboard, you get two options on the top first is the production option and the second is the staging option.
Production refers to the live website which means that if you do changes in that mode then it would be applied on your live website.
But our main focus is the staging website option so select staging and click on the create staging button to make a staging site.
After doing all the feature testing on your staging site you can either publish it or delete it.
Rocket.net has quite a straightforward approach to the website staging process.
9. Reporting feature
Rocket.net hosting is super secure and you won’t get any kind of cyber attack on your website if you are using Rocket.net hosting.
However, you can see the attempted attacks on your website hosted on Rocket.net through its reporting feature.
It shows you analytics made by Cloudflare Enterprise CDN, WAF, and other firewalls securing your web hosting server.
It tells you how many times firewall has protected your website from any kind of cyber attacks and provides you other analytics as well such as:
10. Team management feature
Another awesome feature from Rocket.net hosting!
Rocket.net hosting allows you to give access to some specific permissions in your hosting to your team members by creating sub-accounts.
You can give permissions such as:
11. Plugin management
Sometimes due to a plugin installation in your WordPress website, you can get errors while logging into your website’s dashboard.
Which is kind of annoying especially when you are a beginner and don’t know how to fix it.
However, you won’t face this problem if you are using Rocket.net hosting because in this hosting you can deactivate or even delete plugins from your WordPress website through your hosting dashboard.
Just click on the plugins tab and there you will get all the plugins that are installed on your WordPress website.
You can easily disable/enable it, update it or delete it as well.
Along with that, you can also download plugins from your hosting dashboard as well.
Also, you can download, delete or activate/deactivate WordPress themes straight from your hosting dashboard.
12. Feature request
There are a lot of features present in Rocket.net hosting but if there is some specific feature you want in Rocket.net hosting then you can add it to the Rocket.net feature request page.
To add a feature request you have to add the title and details of the feature and click on the submit button.
Along with that, you can also sort or filter the previously given feature requests too.
At the time of writing the post the most trendy feature requests are Cloudflare dashboard integration, option for lossy/lossless image compression, smart monitoring, and more.
13. File Manager and Advanced settings
Through your Rocket.net hosting dashboard you can also see or edit the public_html of your website.
To upload the file or folder to public_html of your website you just have to click on the upload button and upload the file or folder from your computer.
Or if you want to create a new file or folder there then you have to click on the three-dot button and click on the “Create new file/folder” option.
Along with that, you get more options to tweak your website under the Advanced section.
There you can do the database management, choose the PHP version of your website, SSH access, Auto-update plugins, WordPress, themes, and more.
14. Refund policy
Rocket.net hosting offers you a straight 30 days money-back guarantee on all its hosting plans.
Also, the point to be noted here is that to get a refund on rocket.net hosting you should submit a refund request through the ticket system from your hosting dashboard.
Any refund requests from email, fax, phone, and more are not accepted.
15. Rocket.net hosting customer support
Rocket.net hosting provides its customers with top-notch customer support which would help them solve their website-related queries easily.
There are three ways to contact Rocket.net support.
First is the live support chat feature which is present floating at the bottom right corner of the screen.
I have personally tried it and it was super quick. Literally, the support staff person solved all my queries within 5 minutes.
The second method of contacting Rocket.net is by submitting a ticket request through your Rocket.net hosting dashboard.
Just click on the create ticket button at the bottom left of your hosting dashboard and submit your ticket.
A person from the support staff will contact you and would help you solve your queries.
And the last method to contact Rocket.net hosting is by directly emailing the founders of Rocket.net hosting.
The email to contact the founders of this web hosting company is [email protected].
I have personally tried this method as well and the founders of this company contacted me in no time to solve my queries.
I am in love with the speedy support of Rocket.net hosting.
So, if you want speed hosting that comes with speedy customer support too then go with this web host.

Rocket.net hosting reviews

Should you go for Rocket.net hosting for your website?
Yes, of course, you should definitely invest in this web host.
I have tried and tested every aspect of this web host through my demo website and found that this web hosting is super fast and secure as well.
So, if you are fed up with the speed of your current web host and have money to afford this web hosting then I would highly recommend you to go for it.
You won’t regret it. For SURE!
Who should use Rocket.net hosting? (And who shouldn’t?)
Rocket.net hosting is not for everyone!
If you are a new blogger who is just starting in this blogging world and has limited funds to buy web hosting then I would highly recommend you to stay away from this web host.
The monthly cost of this web host is more than the yearly cost of shared hosting providers like Hostinger.
So, if you are a new blogger with limited money then go with Hostinger hosting which is the cheap and best web hosting for beginners.
However, if you have a well-settled website or business that is giving you good profits then without any doubt go for this web host.
It will make your website fast, secure and come with a bunch of other features which would help your website to grow even more.
So, in short for beginners I don’t recommend this web host but for money-making entrepreneurs, I highly recommend it without any doubt!
