SEO Guides

Help search engines find your work and readers find the answers they need.

SEO helps search engines discover and understand your pages. The content still needs to answer the reader's question: a crawlable page with a vague answer has only solved part of the problem.

Start with clear page subjects and working navigation. Technical fixes, useful content, and measurement support each other.

Match the Search Intent

Look at what someone is trying to do, not just the phrase they type. Choosing hosting, understanding hosting, and moving a blog to another host are different tasks.

  • Give each page one clear purpose.
  • Use a descriptive title and headings that name the subject.
  • Explain the answer, evidence, and important qualifications together.
  • Link to related published pages when the link helps the next decision.

Check the Foundations

Check that important pages can be reached through links and aren't accidentally blocked or marked noindex. Use a consistent canonical address and a sitemap of public pages.

Measure queries, clicks, and the actions readers take. A ranking alone doesn't show whether the page helped.
